Challenge

generating leads while they prioritised teaching.

Our Task

1) Run a Black Friday creative campaign.
2) Work around the decline of online shoppers during the pandemic.
3) Develop a fast action plan to compete with institutions who had launched promotions well in advance.
The Strategy
Challenged by a short delivery time, having to beat competitor campaigns, and the brand’s own on-going online ads, we produced data-driven creative and focused on targeting prospects who were identified as Red & Yellow’s ideal audience.

Targeting included the use of keyword specific ads, production of content in various formats, and driving prospects to a landing page created especially for the Black Friday campaign.

The Outcome

As a result, we were able to generate R800 000 in direct eCommerce revenue and reached more than 400 000 people. The campaign was so well received that the lowest cost per action was just under R70 for transactions of about R10 000 each.
